Del Mar G2 winner ASTRONAUT has roots with Ittlingen (25.08.2021)
 
Last Sunday brought a nice success story for our breeding operation with ASTRONAUT's win in the ¢300,000 Del Mar Handicap Stakes in California. The John Shirreff-trained Quality Road son was ridden by Victor Espinoza when he displayed brilliant speed in the 2000 m G2 challenge, hence qualifying with this success for a starting place in this year's Breeders' Cup Turf.
ASTRONAUT is out of a the Ittlingen bred the Acatenango-daughter ARMANDA, a half-sister to the G2-placed AGNELLI.
