Ittlingen-bred two-year-old LARK IN THE MORNIN was able to turn his first appearance on a racecourse into a victorious one. In Listowel, Ireland, the Joseph O'Brien-trained colt won safely with a neck advantage over 1600 metres with Shane Cross on board.
LARK IN THE MORNIN is the second product of our Lando daughter LOYALTY, a sister of the Derby winner LUCKY SPEED. The Soldier Hollow son was a seller for us at the BBAG Yearling Auction, where he moved to the Emerald Isle and fetched the third highest price at the Breeze-Up Sale at Newmarket in April 2022. We certainly anticipate the colt's future career.
