Foaling season at Ittlingen Stud began at the end of January this year. Since then, we have welcomed seven new foals, with an impressive 6:1 ratio of fillies to colts, and three of the foals even choosing the same day for their arrival.
The lineup was opened by our top mare ANAITA. The dam of AMORELLA and ACCON foaled a filly by two-time Guineas winner CHURCHILL. At the beginning of February, ATIARA, who is also responsible for the group horses AREO and ABILITY, produced a colt by SEA THE MOON.
A few days later, our team had their hands full when the offspring of LOVE MORE, SUNNY BELLE, and LOVELLE could hardly wait to land. The Monsun-daughter LOVE MORE foaled a filly by JAPAN while the Survey-daughter SUNNY BELLE produced a filly by SAXON WARRIOR. Love More's daughter LOVELLE foaled her second foal, a filly by NEATICO, who sired the 2022 Derby runner-up Schwarzer Peter.
Also by NEATICO is LOPERA's 2024 foal. The Monsun daughter seems to have booked a subscription for fillies, as she gave birth to her fifth one in a row this year.
LOFT and LORDANO now have a sister after LABRICE produced a filly by Nathaniel. This means that the first foalings have now been completed and we are delighted to have so much new life in our stables and pastures.
