It was jockey Maxim Pecheur's patient ride that took Haus Ittlingen’s Finch Hatton to a fine victory at Duesseldorf racecourse today. In a race that saw a lot of pace from the start, the five-year-old colt by Pivotal came from the back of the pack, rolled past the entire field and drew clear by two lenghts to win this €22,500 level 1 handicap over 1,400 m on fast turf for trainer Ferdinand Leve.
