Excellent third place for former Ittlingen runner SOUND in Gr.2 Auckland Cup (13.03.2022)
 
Having traveled from Australia to New Zealand, former Ittlingen runner SOUND finished the NZ$500,000 Gr.2 Auckland Cup at Ellerslie in an excellent third place. The SCALO brother, who races in the colours of B & C Thoroughbreds Pty Ltd, had Johnathan Parkes in the saddle for a 3200 metres trip under top weight and passed the post only one length behind a winner, who carried 5 kilograms less.
